Have just spent a wonderful two weeks holiday at the Hotel RivaLago. A beautiful hotel set in the most glorious setting. Everything about the hotel is top class. The staff from Antionetta & GianLucca, reception, breakfast staff and cleaners to the Davida and the evening bar waitress, were all extremly helpful and courteous, always ready to help in any way. The bedroom was extremly comfortable and along with the excellent bathroom facilities kept very clean. The breakfast was a vast variety of everything you could possibly wish for breakfast, also the restaurant, whilst being a seperate entity to the hotel was superb. We very much enjoyed the swimming pool at the end of a wonderful day exploring the Lake and also the ease in which we were able to swim in the lake. After visiting both Lake Garda & Lake Como we can say that Lake Iseo and especially Hotel RivaLago have given us the best holiday so far. Thankyou so much.

Wir waren vom 12.-20.08.2011 in Ihrem Hotel. Wir alle haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen, das Frühstück war liebevoll hergerichtet, die Unterkunft war absolut sauber und liebevoll ausgestattet - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Das einzige, was zu bemängeln war, ist die absolut katastrophale Parkplatzsituation. Trotz Reservierung eines Parkplatzes hatten wir wiederholt Probleme einen Platz für unser Auto zu finden, da müsste dringend etwas geändert werden!! Ansonsten ist das Hotel einfach ein Traum, der Blick auf die Insel, der Komfort, die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten, der Service, ...

This is absolute on of our best holidays ever. The hotel was amazing, and the view over the lake fantastic. Service in top - very clean rooms, and breakfast one of the best we have ever experienced. RivaLago we love your calm atmosphere and relaxing style. We will return. That is a promise :-)

Tucked away down a narrow road ,off the main thoroughfare in Sulzano,lies an Italian gem. Hotel Rivalago has been lovingly created with flair and imagination by owners Antonella and Gianluca-two of the nicest people you will ever meet.They are proud of their achievement.And rightly so. Crisp,cool,inviting,friendly,restfull-the beautiful interior is very easy on the eye.Floral arrangements are dotted around the hotel creating a freshness and relaxing ambience.Attention to detail is truly amazing.And service has that extra special touch. Ideally positioned on the side of LAKE ISEO-the nicest of the Italian lakes.Relax in the outdoor pool which is just metres away from the lake.Sunbathe on the wood-decked terrace, with the water lapping underneath.You will not find a better view. The beautifully appointed bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and have an airy, intimate feel.Air conditioned too.The beds are huge! Some rooms overlooking the lake have a balcony.Book one and you will be rewarded with stunning views and lashings of gorgeous Italian sunshine flooding into the room especially in the afternoon and evening.Other lake view rooms are available-these don't disappoint either. We sat in the garden every night drinking, chatting and enjoying the exquisite sunsets.-the mountains changing colour as the sun disappeared across the lake.And as day turned into night the garden and terrrace was beautifully lit with huge candle lanterns.Magical. It doesn't get any better than this! Breakfast is a grand affair.Don't skip it-its too good to miss. Taken either in the restaurant or on the outside terrace or in the garden it is quite simply the best we have had in any hotel in the world. And there is so much to tempt you with. Stay for a week and you could try a different fruit juice or jam or marmalade or cereal every day of your stay Organic sits happily alongside gluten-free next to diabetic alongside normal hotel fare.Fresh fruit a plenty,four types of croissant and endless supplies of tea and coffee! BLISS! The villages and towns around LAKE ISEO are linked by a comprehensive network of ferries.The area is a treasure trove of experiences waiting to be discovered.Perfectly situated, the ferry point is a five minute walk away -along a winding medieval alleyway of houses and church which backs onto and skirts the lake. We had the most romantic,relaxing stay at the Riva Lago in 2009 .We are so excited because we are returning again this summer 2011.Can't wait to sit on 'our' terrace and watch the sun setting,with the lake looking so tranquil.Counting the days!!

I can't praise the Hotel Rivalago enough. The position overlooking the lake is fantastic - try to get a room with a lake view. The staff were all excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. Reception helped with all our enquiries and organised the rental of a speedboat for us - something which we would recommend. Our room was very well cleaned and breakfast was a feast - probably the best we've had in Italy - ever. There was a short walk to the boat departure point where we could travel to all the villages around the island. We looked at hotels in different villages while we were there and couldn't find anything with a better location than the Rivalago. We very much hope to return.

Ottimo hotel immerso in una calma deliziosa con vista incantevole sul lago. Bella piscina, molto pulita e curata con giardino nel quale poter prendere aperitivi o consumare la colazione alla mattina/pranzare. Il personale è disponibilissimo e gentilissimo, sempre pronto a consigliare ed a rendere la vacanza indimenticabile. Una piccola gemma sul lago d'Iseo. Consigliamo a tutti un soggiorno in questo Hotel.

Dear Antonella,family and staff, Thankyou for such a wonderful weekend experience on our 1st trip to Italy in your beautiful hotel.We were only there for 3 days but, hopefully, if my husband is well enough we will be back next month for longer.All your staff made us feel very much at home. We could not fault anything. What a wonderful place for a peaceful,romantic getaway. Having breakfast on the edge of the lake was an experience not to be missed as was evening meal.
